Not your gramma's "granny square"

My version of the granny square: thinking outside the box for what comes in the "box". I finally learned how to crochet this year, but only how to make a granny square. So I just kept making my granny square larger and larger, and trying different stitches within the square as I went. My final product (blanket) is unique and colorful. I never would have guessed that crocheting could be so creative, personal, fun and fulfilling!
